Birth life

The legend was born on 17 September 1950 in a grocers family in Vadnagar, Mehsana district. His father name was Damodardas Mulchand Modi and his mother's name was Hiraben Modi. 
He had a very helping nature. He helped his father in selling tea at a tea stall. Later he ran a business of tea stall with his brother.

Primary Education

He completed his study from Vadnagar in 1967. His teachers described Modi as an average student. But had a keen interest in debates. When he was just eight years old, he joined Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and he also attends the sessions of RSS.

Early life

At that time parents fixed the marriage of their child at a very small age. So his parents fixed the marriage of Modi with a girl who was living close to their home. But Modi was not interested in these type of rituals. He wanted to study higher education. He took a decision in favour of himself and leave the house in 1967.
He spent his two years on Himalayan. He was very much influenced by the life of Swami Vivekananda.
He came home in early 1970. When he returned home his look was completely changed. He was looking like a 'Swami Baba'. After that, he visited Ahmedabad to ignore his family pressure of doing marriage. He did a small business of tea stall at his uncle's house in Ahmedabad.
After the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971, he stopped working for his uncle and became a campaigner for the RSS. In 1978 he received his bachelor's degree from the school of open learning at University of Delhi.

Political Careers

In June 1975, Prime Minister of India i.e Indira Gandhi declared the state of emergency in all over India. At that time Gujarat had a group of people who opposed the decision of Indira Gandhi and her party completely. Modi was appointed as the General Secretary of "Gujarat Lok Sangharsh Samiti". But due to the drastic conditions, he was forced to underground himself for two years to protect himself from the police. After two years he was very much praised by RSS  due to his hard work and he became regional organiser (Sambhag Pracharak) in 1978. 
In 1979 he went Delhi to work for RSS. He assigned by the RSS to BJP in 1985.  
In 1987 he organised the campaign for BJP as an organising secretary and due to which BJP won the elections easily. Before 1987 the party was completely run by L.K.Advani and Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
He became the member of BJP's National Election Committee in 1990. He helped Advani a lot to organise the Ram Rath Yatra in 1990 and Murli Manohar Joshi in 1999 to Ekta Yatra. In the year 1995 Modi was elected as a national secretary of BJP and was transferred to New Delhi.

Chief Minister of Gujarat

In the year 1998, Modi was promoted as the General Secretary of BJP organisation. Bjp lost their candidate Keshubhai Patel in 2001 due to the failure of health. On 3rd October 2001, he was replaced with Keshubhai Patel as a Chief Minister of Gujarat. He took the oath on 7th October 2001.

Gujarat riots

On 27th February 2007, a bad incident happened, a train was burnt near Godhra and due to which approximately 60 people died. Due to which the condition become worse all over Gujarat. Riots start between Hindus and Muslims. Modi government took strict actions. They imposed a curfew in 26 main cities of Gujarat, ordered to shot at sight, also called to the army. But they were unable to stop the violence from spreading.
Due to the conditions in Gujarat BJP wanted resignation from Modi. But due to support of the people of Gujarat. Modi did not resign at the end. In the election, BJP won 127 seats in the 182 member assembly.

Development projects

He worked on the groundwater conservation projects. By December 2008, 500000 structures have been built of which 113,738 were check dams, which helped recharge the aquifers beneath them.
The state's production of genetically modified cotton increased to become the largest in India.
They provided electricity to every village home in Gujarat.
A lot of projects for farmers started which gave a boost to the agriculture sector of India.

Loksabha elections

At the time of campaigning in the Lok Sabha Elections Modi used extensive technologies by which he was able to reach a large number of people.
Finally, BJP won the election by a majority of 115 seats out of 182 seats.
In September 2013 Modi's name was selected for the prime minister in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
Modi played a very important role in the Lok Sabha election's campaigning. He talks about the development of the country. He also described his image in the previous years in Gujarat. He focused on the scandalous and told about his policies. He also promised to increase the GDP rate due to this statement the middle sector citizens supported him.
But the media tried to focus his role in the 2002 Gujarat riots. But Modi and his party were able to divert all the citizens. They grab the attention of all the citizens by his upcoming policies that are done by Modi as a CM of Gujarat. Also, the Hindutva remained a significant part of its campaign.
In the end, BJP won the election by a majority. His party become the party to win a majority of seats on its own since 1984. Modi himself was a candidate for the Lok Sabha in two constituencies. Varanasi and Vadodra. He won both the constituencies.

As a Prime Minister of India

Modi was sworn in as the Prime Minister of India on 26 May 2014 at the Rashtrapati Bhawan.
He becomes the first Prime Minister who was born after the Independence of India from Britishers.

Economic policies

Modi government focused on privatisation and liberalisation of the economy. He liberalised India's foreign direct investment policies, by which investment with foreign companies increases.
In his first budget, Finance Minister promised to reduce the budgetary deficit from 4.1 per cent to 3 per cent.
India's GDP grew at a rate of 7.5, making the world's largest growing GDP.
In September 2014, Modi introduced the 'Make in India' initiate by which he was trying to motivate foreign companies to manufacture products in India by which he dreams to convert India into a "Global Manufacturing Hub".
He also put the "Goods and Service Tax" which is the biggest tax reform in the country after independence. It becomes effectively from 1 July 2017. On June 2015, he launched a project named "Housing for all by 2022". In this project, he dreams to replace slum areas into smart cities.
On 9 November 2016, the government demonetised 500 and 1000 rupee notes to stop the corruption, terrorism, black money and many more.
It led to a steep increase in digital money which is a very good sign towards the development of the country in the field of technology.

Health and Sanitisation

The government launched "New Health Policy" in January 2015. On 2 October 2014, he launched the "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan" which is the biggest initiative towards the cleanliness in India. "Ayush Bharat Yojana" was launched by the Prime Minister on 23 September 2018, to provide health insurance to 500 million beneficiaries.

Foreign policy

He tried to improve relations with Islamic nations in the middle east. Modi also made several overtures to the United States, including multiple visits to the country.
Modi had made 51 trips to 42 countries with the intent of strengthening diplomatic relations. He helped financially to the neighbouring countries by which the relations being better. He involved in the Indian Foreign Policy towards East Asia and Southeast Asia.
He also invited the Prime Minister of other countries to build strong relations.

Towards Education

The first and measure step of Government towards education is that student prefers their mother tongue language. Because in the primary classes students develop an interest in the study due to their own language.
The minimum qualification for teachers is compulsory and this is authorised by Central Government by March 31, 2019.
Modi government focused on quality education of all students.
The government also provide scholarships to poor students.
The government also considered education equals to other curricular activities. Government think that games and other activities are as important as education.
Also, our HRD minister announces the "New Education Policy" which is the most important step towards the development of our country.
